reimagining historic jonestown

With museums, historic sites, and buildings dating back to Colonial Maryland, Historic Jonestown is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Baltimore.  Like many old urban neighborhoods, decay and demolition have erased much of its original material culture, making those remaining historic structures all the more precious. CityLab taps into the emerging entrepreneurial Jonestown community, connecting the energy and talent of the Johns Hopkins knowledge community with transformative projects converting vacant and abandoned properties into homes, apartments, greenspaces, and businesses featuring up-to-date infrastructure and amenities while honoring the character, integrity, and diversity of Historic Jonestown.  Close to the business, education, hospitality, and entertainment venues around Downtown Baltimore and the Inner Harbor, Historic Jonestown is creating a future as rich as its historic legacy.
